Pet Memorial Songs · Original · 48 Hours

A custom song for the
pet who was family.

Original lyrics built from your photos, voice notes, and stories. Professionally produced. Delivered in 48 hours. Made to be replayed forever.

Two-round revision included. Money-back guarantee. Original songs only — never resold.

Some pets get a card. Some get a paw print.
Yours gets a song.

The hardest part isn't the goodbye — it's the empty space afterward. The food bowl. The leash by the door. The spot on the floor that's still warm in the afternoon sun. A custom song doesn't fill that space. It honors it.

I write fully original songs about real pets — from the photos, voice notes, nicknames, weird habits, and stories you send me. Not "a song about a dog." A song about your dog. The one only you knew the way you knew them.

Every lyric is human-written. Every production decision is human-led. Every song is delivered in 48 hours. And every song is yours forever — to play in the quiet moments, to share with family, or to tuck into a memorial slideshow on the day you say goodbye.

This is "Bubba".

A tribute song for Gage — Chad's 13-year-old dog, who's been part of the family since college. The kind of song you write before you have to write it.

Questions, answered.

How is this so fast?
Most custom song services take 4–6 weeks. I deliver in 48 hours. The speed comes from combining the writing, the lyric direction, the take selection, and the final polish I do by hand — with modern production tools that move the recording from idea to finished track in hours instead of weeks. Every song is original to your pet's story, with my judgment throughout. You're not buying a template. You're buying a custom song built for one family.
Should I order before or after I lose them?
Either works. Many families order during hospice or palliative care so they have something tender to hold onto in the days after. Others wait until they're ready. Whatever feels right — there's no wrong time. If you want a song before they go, tell me; we'll handle it with care.
Will it feel like a real tribute, or generic?
Generic gets the names of pets right. Real gets the texture right — the way they whined at the door, the spot on the couch they claimed, the goofy thing they did when you came home. The more specific you get in the questionnaire, the more your song will feel like only theirs.
What if it isn't a dog or a cat?
I write for horses, rabbits, birds, reptiles, and any animal that was family. Horse and equine tributes often fit best at the Production tier because the stories are bigger. Email me first if you want to talk through a non-dog/non-cat tribute.
Can we use this in a memorial service or video?
Yes. Personal use is included on every tier — slideshow, memorial gathering, family video, social tribute. The Keepsake includes a 30-second "memorial cut" sized for slideshow use; The Production includes a full HD memorial video.
What if we don't love the lyrics?
Every package includes lyric revision rounds (1 on The Song, 2 on The Keepsake, 3 on The Production). I don't record a single note until you've approved the words. If after revisions you still don't love it, I'll keep working — or refund you in full.
How fast — really?
48 hours from approved lyrics. If you need it faster (a service is tomorrow, hospice is today), email me first — rush is usually possible.

[Verse 1] I drove out to Hearne one cold November night Last black pup she had — last day of his life Set to be put down before the break of dawn So I paid what she asked and I loaded him on Took one look at the brand-new King Ranch seat And christened the leather before we hit the street Four hours at the Shell with a roll of paper towels That black-furred boy had a way all his own [Verse 2] Back roads got dark and he leapt from the bed Eighty miles an hour — I was sure he was dead I cried to the woman who gave him to me The whole town went looking through the brush and the trees Next day she called, said "Come on, pick him up" Not a scratch on his coat — like he'd never been touched That same night on the porch he caught a bird from the sky Some dogs come into this world a legend — that's why [Pre-Chorus] He could hear my old truck from five miles away Be sittin' at the gate 'fore I turned in the drive [Chorus] Bubba — my big black bear Purple tongue and a chow's loyal heart He picked his people and he picked 'em hard A good boy, Bubba — every mile right from the start [Verse 3] When the Corps called me out, Mama took him in Ten Texas summers, she made him her own She wouldn't give him back, and I couldn't blame her none Some dogs find their person — some find a home [Bridge] Now he's skin and bones in a quiet house in Brock Won't eat, can't run, just lays beside the clock Thirteen years of footsteps on the hardwood floor House gonna sound a whole lot different when he ain't here no more You stayed tough as nails, you stuck with me through it all And if I could say one thing, brother — we love you in spite of it all [Final Chorus] Bubba — my big black bear Purple tongue and a chow's loyal heart You picked your people and you picked 'em hard A good boy, Bubba — I'll thank God for you the rest of my life [Outro] Lay down in the shade, brother Lay down easy now — you're home, you're home
